I’m not technical. Can I really use this?
Yes — that’s exactly who Trooix is built for. You describe what you need in plain language, the same way you’d explain it to a friend. Trooix handles everything: planning, coding, testing, and getting your app live. No code, no command line, no technical knowledge required at any step.
What if the app doesn’t do what I asked?
Trooix shows you what it plans to build before writing any code. Once it’s done, you see the working app before it goes live. If anything isn’t right, describe the change and Trooix applies it. We don’t consider a build done until you’re happy with it.
Do I need to keep paying to keep my app running?
Yes — your app runs on Trooix’s infrastructure, so an active subscription keeps it live. Think of it like paying for Shopify: stop paying and the shop goes offline. We haven’t finalised our pricing yet, but as a founding member you’ll get early access to our best rates when paid plans launch.
What happens when my $20 credit runs out?
When your $20 runs out, you can fill in a short feedback form telling us what you built and what you thought. We use that to improve Trooix, and as a thank-you, we’ll add another $20 so you can keep going. We’re in early access and pricing hasn’t been finalised yet — founding members will get priority access and the best rates when paid plans launch.
What if Shopify changes their API and breaks my app?
Trooix monitors for Shopify API changes (Shopify ships breaking changes twice a year — Winter and Summer Editions). When an update is needed, Trooix runs it and you approve before it’s applied. Your app stays compatible without you lifting a finger.
How is Trooix different from off-the-shelf Shopify apps?
